In my almost 15 years reading Gillen's work I've found he is right more often than he is wrong.

I wanted to buy The Witcher when it came out, but got persuaded not to for some reason. I guess I'll try out it during round 2.

In response to Matthew: When he's wrong, he's quite spectacularly wrong though; see DEIW & the aforementioned Bioshock (note: this is part opinion and part provocative prod, see if mentioning him 3 times has the Candyman effect).

Does anyone have it, and does anyone have it from Steam?
I bought it on steam, and I've killed ~4 people. There has been literally no blood. I'm kinda pissed. Killing stunned enemies is much less satisfying.
Does anyone know if this is true of the non-steam enhanced edition?
Also, objects that are far away seem blurry, which is really annoying. Anyone know if I can fix this?

thank god. It looked incredibly silly to stab someone through the chest and have there be no blood...

Just now I read his (

Which reminds me, I need to finish up that Bioshock retrospective I started like a month ago.
