Thank you for the reviews Wizd3m - I don't always say so but I do enjoy them. I'm afraid I'm not a massive loot collector so can't help. I tend only to go for all loot when I've really enjoyed the mission or love the architecture and am happy to carry on looking around. Otherwise, I only collect all loot when testing.
I'm not sure I've played the Odium so can't help with the ghost either. It seems like a slightly harsh review and I wonder whether older missions suffer a bit in comparison to later missions which are of an astounding quality.
Hi nickie! Thank you for checking them out still :) I understand that this latest review seems a little harsh, especially given that it's an old mission, but I did play through some very enjoyable oldies as well that didn't suffer from many of the issues I witnessed in The Odium. In fact, having admittedly not played any of the newer FMs (I'm really looking forward to them though), I have really only other missions from its time as a reference point, hence the starting with KOMAG collection.
In any case, I really appreciate the feedback :) Hope to someday see you over at the site, nickie!

I wonder which mission, from the year 1999, will claim the top...I may have to post something about this!

Well, as promised over youtube (hi, Wizd3m, cthultystka here), here are my discoveries:
Remember the beam above the entrance to the stronghold? If you put guards by the gate to rest, you can use a rope arrow to climb onto it. From there you can jump to a tunnel with spider that connects with the area with dead guy, his journal and some loot (I guess it's the one you couldn't enter from the other side). You can also take crate and climb to the top - there's an extra rope arrow. But you can also enter this area from the corridor patroled by a haunt and then get down onto a beam and to the ground - beyond archers' posts. Maybe this could be done without getting spotted? (guard by the gate still would have to be disposed of though)
Or you could use one of the windows at the very top and drop down on the other side of the gate, beyond the line of sight of both archers and the guard. You need something (a crate or body) to break your fall though. I did that because the second gate was closed and I didn't feel like running around trying to find a way to open it, but after many tries ended up with 1 hp
And there's a secret room in the chapel but I have no idea how to open it. It opened once, when I alerted everyone and used flashbomb (?). Beyond there was only a bugbeast and instant death, but no loot or anything useful and I wasn't able to reproduce this effect anyway.
Oh, one more thing: the main baddie can be killed with one arrow if he won't spot you first :p
*5 minutes later*
I've just found this thread: (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72105)
It sheds some light on the secret passages. And that closed gate that costed me most of my hitpoints

Hello Flavia, it's nice to see you here :) Thank for following me this long, I really appreciate the interest. Now, onto your findings.
The wooden beam above the front gate, I thought, was an excellent way to sneak into the stronghold and avoid knocking out that lonely guard posted at the staircase. Sadly, I was unable to use it without angering the archers, breaking my ghost run from the start. I guess I could have escaped this way, but like I said in the video, the tunnel past the spider was too annoying to use, as I would constantly get stuck in it, so i decided to just dash out...like a moron.
As for the secret door in the chapel, I did come across it, even researched it a bit to be sure, using that old thread you linked to, but since there was no loot to be found in it, I didn't feel the need to show it, just mention it in passing. I imagine it would have created a commotion inside, and i didn't want the patrolling guards to go crazy.
And for the final baddie, that was entirely my bad. I shouldn't have let him spot me, and instead taken your advice to take care of him with an arrow from afar. Still working on my aim :p
Anyway, thank you again fro watching, and for the tips! If there are ever any more you can provide, I'd love to hear them :)

Thanks for your Odium video, Wizd3m. Just gave this a replay and 1523 of the 1673 total loot was all I could find too, and I got everywhere except that one metal door in the basement that seems unopenable. Maybe a Dromeder can tell us where the missing loot was.
I didn't ghost, so I opened the secret door in the chapel (switch is in one the archer's rooms) and let the bugbeast wipe out the Hammers in there, which was nice of her. You can distract the basement staircase guard to sneak by him, though it does break ghosting. Also I went in the front with a rope arrow to the beam and through the tunnel, which you can squeeze through by crouching a little sideways and keeping trying, and the two spiders were easy enough to deal with.
When you exit the front at the end, just don't run past the paved part (where the zombie and other body are lying) and the escape objective ticks off, but if you make it out onto the dirt part it won't. Also I tried exiting through the cistern using crates which doesn't end the mission, then went around to the hole in the wall and jumped up there which then ended it with everything checked, so it must have been an intended way out through the kitchen if there had been a switch inside.
In the FM text file the author says to his knowledge it was the first fan-made mission using undead, though I don't know if that's really the case. But it was very early and I'd still consider it a classic despite not being totally finished.

It's entirely my pleasure :) I'm also writing reviews and I found reading other people's work both entertaining and enriching. Especially since you're probably the only truly critical person here :laff:

Yes, I was thinking more about using it as an escape route. You can still get to the top of the gatehouse (above the beam and spider tunnel) from the upper floor and drop down (using some corpse to break your fall) on the other side of the second gate. I'm not sure how you, as ghoster, feel about exploiting bugs, but hey - at least that would be more "discrete" than dashing out like a moron :p

One more done, with the video to follow in the next few days.

DahenjoYou're very welcome Dahenjo, and thank you for viewing it. I truly hope you enjoyed it :) Also, it's great to talk to more people who made it through these missions in different ways, and using different play styles. Not to belittle my own work, but you might also be interested in checking out the following channel: (
http://www.youtube.com/user/NexusTorvum)
On it, Nexus is trying to accomplish pretty much the same thing I am, but plays very differently. I think all these different videos are a great way to cover these old missions from all angles, for viewers and reviewers alike. Oh and as for being the first undead mission, some zombies were present in Escape: The Bear Pits, an FM that came earlier I believe. I could be wrong though, going so far back in time is a little tricky with all the different dates plastered all over the web.
Anyway, hope to see you around the channel Dahenjo, and maybe even my site! Leave me any comments you'd like, I always appreciate the feedback.
FlaviaHahaha, it sure would, wouldn't it :)
Also, I had no idea you were writing reviews! Would you mind sharing a link to some of your work, I'd love to read it! I can surely be critical, but not unjustly so I believe. Also, I think I'd quickly lose interest in writing if I offer nothing but praise. In any case, I hope my reviews helped, and that you enjoyed them so far :) And look out for my next video soon, I'd love to see if you have any tips for that one.

I would but... they're all in polish :p
I thought about translating some of them and posting here, but I don't trust my english and since they are more critical than most reviews here, more emotional, sarcastic at times and a bit obscene at another and I can easily imagine them hurting some authors' fragile feelings  So no, thanks, I may need that account someday.

Bah, too bad it's not in russian :p Hahaha, funny enough I've been in contact recently with someone who writes about the Witcher games, as I do, and he's also polish! As were most of the artist's whose work I used in the past on my websites. Personally, I'd love to visit Poland some day.
Anyway, if you ever decide to give the translations a try, I'd love to read the work of another critical reviewer :) And I wouldn't worry about hurting feelings too much, provided you explain your opinion in a friendly manner. Though I often criticise the creations of others, I nevertheless remain positive about what they do, and realize how important it is to the community. And with these early missions, it's understandable that people were just learning the tools and trying things out, but if we don't criticise their work, they'll not as likely to improve. And so on and so on... My writing was complete garbage at first, and I'm still asking people for feedback in order to make it better.
EDIT: and here's the video :)

Was anyone able to get all the loot in this one?
I took on this as a challenge - to find all the loot in Koobze. With no outside help, I ended up 370 short, but with the help of some tools, I now have every penny. I had missed 4 pieces - 2 of them were somewhat embarassing.
Lootlist can be found (
