No. But I am sorry I said anything.

Yep, that could be a figment of my imagination for sure. It just made me think of an intentionally-twisted version of Garrett's voice-overs: "I have a plan... sneak in... and
kill everyone."
That sounds more like something Duke Nukem would say.

Just joshing with ya. But if it were Arkane doing dev honours instead of MG, that'd probably have been intentional.

It's a shame this doesn't seem to be getting a release for the 360 or PS3 - especially considering it is being touted as a cut-price standalone release to The New Order, which did come out on both those systems. Sure, The New Order on 360 came on 4 discs (!), and the engine was visibly creaking at the seams, but it was still eminently playable.
Ah well, I guess now really is the point where publishers no longer even try and pander to the 'last-gen' crowd, c'est la vie. It's just... it's probably going to be a while until I get a new console or a PC beefy enough to play this, so it's going to have to sit on my wishlist for some time being. Considering The New Order was one of my favourites last year, that's a slightly bitter pill to swallow.

They've dropped the 360/PS3 support to get it out faster. They've already pushed the release date as far as they could, it seems, because they're hosting this (
http://www.bethblog.com/2015/02/10/bethesdas-first-ever-e3-conference-save-me-a-seat/) Bethesda conference in June. It's not far fetched to expect they'll announce some big fully next gen games there (DOOM4 most likely, maybe Fallout4)... so I guess they want to release their last gen stuff before all of this.

Still supporting decade old consoles at this late stage is an albatross around the neck of creative freedom.
This expandalone is probably what they opted to make instead of The New Order's obligated DLC, so it probably had a restricted budget anyway. There is always a cost to making any and all SKUs.

Thank the gods you posted that YouTube clip. I almost didn't know what you meant.
