For those of you who don't get X (and I don't), something actually happened on one of those awful shows that was real.

Unfortunately, they had to spoil it. First they tarted it up for a music video.

Then, when, despite that, it reached the top of the charts they changed the X rules so that Lucy Spraggan had to pull it from iTunes.
