Yep, it's not hidden, though it doesn't really look like a cauldron, more of a large pot. Just past the little bridge over the river, there is a Pagan standing next to a fire. The pot/cauldron is on the fire.

Nice mission. It was challenging in a few parts. I got 7819 of the loot on expert and all secrets. I did run into a glitch here and there, The worst one was after the thieves rob the bank, the one guy runs to the secret room. If you let him open that room, the torch switch becomes inoperable. I just restarted soon before that issue and went without pinching some pockets, just so I could beat the "runner" to the door. Overall a really cool mission. Thanks. :thumb:

This was a fun one - a bit more involved than I usually expect from contest missions. Didn't run into any real game breakers, though the bank door did have to be bashed open.
