One thing I like to do is have 2 (or more) copies of Dromed running, where I'm copying values from one mission to another. But this isn't possible if one is working under FMSel, is it?
OT: I saw a chocolate smear on my monitor, obviously put there by a certain little girl. So I lick my thumb and start scrubbing away. Then a pop-up pad appears on the screen. I closed the ad window so I could finish removing the smear. So much for having a 140 IQ. :p

It is possible. You just start Dromed again and pick a different mission. Within your FMs folder you'll get a new subfolder for the current mission.

I think his problem is that the copy&paste buttons do not work from one instance to the other.

It would be tremendous if this did work. I've been doing quite a lot of copying stuff from one mission to another and a shared clipboard would be an awesome timesaver. Some of it was easily done with vbr's, but other not.
