That just proves you don't have any taste.

I actually don't mind that track in the context of the game. Outside of that it doesn't really interest me at all. It's basically identitcal to every bland electro-goth band circa 1985 through some indeterminate point in the future. It's still better than the rest of the shit on that CD though (Al Jourgenson in particular should have offed himself 15-20 years ago, around the time of the "Mind Is..." tour).
(Edit: I still laugh at the posters in the clubs. There's one of a band that played around here a lot in 97-98-ish and were so horrible we joked about starting a "drink everytime they suck" game and everyone was afraid that someone would die. Although, admittedly, they were cool enough to intro a song once with "this one is for those fuckers at the bar and their fucking drinking game").

And to all who said DX had bad music:

Well don't leave us hanging.

The original Marathon has a pretty damn annoying soundtrack. It is probably the last music you would expect to hear in a fast-paced, yet claustrophobic FPS.
Good thing, you can easily replace the music files with music of your taste. In my case, Aliens Versus Predator Gold and Escape from Butcher Bay.
Much, much better.

Persona 3.
Jpop. That is all.

Everyone says it's not massive attack, but honestly it's so close that it might as well be a cover.

Blizzard's soundtracks have been faux-atmospheric lameness and/or orchestrated remixes of older soundtracks since Act III of Diablo II. A real shame considering that the Starcraft soundtrack is better than just about everything.

Dead Space
I can't recall any other game atm, where the music was actually annoying. Though I turned off the music in GRAW and GRAW2 (PC) too - not that it was bad, but there are games (simulations and related genres) that just don't need music IMO.

That's awesome. What band?

Okay, not bad. Better than Portishead at any rate.
With rare exceptions triphop just doesn't do it for me.
ANYWAY
I love Fallout 3 to bits but Inon Zur's soundtrack is snoozeworthy. I replace it with, among other things, the Fallout 1 and 2 soundtracks, loads of Desidirii Marginis (The game seems to really like picking "Solemn Descent" for underground sequences, and more often than not it fit perfectly), a few tracks by Ghoul Detail, among other things.
