I really don't like lost city since it's really hard to figure it out and also the color scheme is really ugly I think

My favorite mission in TDP
(although I don't like the changes that were made in Gold)

Casing and Masks: an uninspiring, half-finished mission, twice. :p
The Lost City was pretty good, and I didn't like the changes Gold made either: that really destroyed the feeling of abandonment and desolation. And I am mortally afraid of fire elementals.

I like this level too :) There are many scary places, but it is very interesting to visit, especially for the first time. Then I had a feeling that the whole are is huge, you can lose your way there and it was great. I hate craymen, but in Lost City they were just in place. I do not notice any ugly colors there :erg:
My favorite levels go in this order of priority:
1. The Sword
2. Lord Bafford's Manor
3. Assassins
4. Down In The Bonehoard
5. Break From Cragscleft Prison
6. The Lost City
7. Undercover
8. The Haunted Cathedral
9. Return To The Cathedral
10. Strange Bedfellows
11. Escape!
12. The Maw Of Chaos
The last five levels are not the worst, just I do not like to fight undeads or Trickster's creatures. I like Training a lot, it is very well done, I feel like home there :cheeky:
And Casing the Joint/Masks also like Sabotage at Soulforge were the worst to me too! :)

I still need to BJ a fire elemental someday, haven't tried that yet. Oh Lost City, I'll take it, either version. Play it a few times, you get used to it.

This is an easy question for me.
Soulforge.

Thieves Guild without a doubt for me.
It's this mission that halted my last playthrough of Gold. I might just grab a couple of hundred extra loot and skip straight to the next mission.
The thing is just an incomprehensible mess to me. Partly due to my poor sense of direction, and partly due to the awful design of the level itself.

Casing/Masks are some of the best missions.
The worst mission in the entire Thief series is Strange Bedfellows.

meh . . . outta the WHOLE series - the worst mission, IMHO, was "Checking In - Cashing Out". What soooooooooo took away from that mission was the nuclear blue footprints to follow, the tutorial screens that popped up out of nowhere, the guiding you by the hand . . .
it would've been better if that mission was done similar to "Running Interference" - on normal and easy it provided a lot of tutorial information, on screen, but it didn't completely take over the screen. Easy difficulty provided the most tutorial information - aimed at those who hadn't played TDP yet. But for those who have, on expert, there was almost no tutorial information at all, except to bring attention to the changes made for T2. It left those who've played T1 not feeling patronized, and it didn't distract you or detract from the missions playability.

My top 3 least favorites.
SoulForge
Casing the Joint
