The Sword was one of my favourites. I'm a sucker for the bizarre and creepy. :P
You people make it sound like it was a lot harder to navigate than it was. I found it surprisingly easy to get around, anyway.

Surprisingly easy only because everyone here made it sound so horrible.

"People all have one thing in common - we are all different."Couldn't agree more. I'm completely suprised how upside-down diffrent our opinions are. One thinks Lost City is the best, another one thinks it's the worst. One Thinks Shipping is the worst, another one thinks it's the best. And so on... Btw Mage Towers i probably enjoyed most of all Thief missions i think. O.o Maybe i forgot some missions, but it was definately a great mission for me.

I loved The Mages Towers mostly for the mages' voices.

The only mission that I really hate is Strange Bedfellows.
It was dissapointing because I had to re-enter an old level with the only bonus of some destroyed walls and confusing catacombs, that's the only level I really hate.
The other ones are great in their own setting, even Escape, I used to hate it at first because of the pink, but the tree houses, and the constantine basement saved it.
Maw of Chaos was cool because it was so weird and straight-forward, no more choices, only run to beat the big bad and recover your eye. It's a good ending stage.
Down in the Bonehoard is just brilliant, zombies are a great guard counter-part for ancient challenges, as it is the Lost City, it never hurts to know and explore the background of The City.
And it just gets better with the rest of the levels, my top favorite is the Song of the Caverns. Terry Brosius is ace.
I've only played Thief 1 though.

"Sabotage at Soulforge." For me it was a Didnotfinish. I had come all that way to be disinterested.
