Would you be interested in a Thief 3 version of one of Thief 2 missions? - by massimilianogoi

Clearing! I was told, not too long ago, that water couldn't happen! Whomever made that test needs to be vocal in TTLG's T3 editing forum. :D Now I don't have to hope for it, cause it's already here! Thanks! EDIT: Hmmm. Is that "real" swimmable water, or is that done with (

invisible lifts? Nice workaround, but still limited if that's what it is.
With the state of things at this time, not only could
A Keeper's Training be kept whole for a T3 FM, but the rest of the map could be built as well, all in one (maybe including the swimmable water)!:thumb:

Y'know, I'd rather have Thief 2 remakes of Thief 3 levels. =P

since when do people hate Shipping and Receiving? It's a classic!

I find it dull. The game-play isn't too bad (I guess the docked ship is great), but most of the time it's all too obvious that the level has been cut out in huge cubes. It felt rushed to me and lacked atmosphere.
But hey, I'm the guy who didn't think much to Life of the Party. (HERESY)

Who said "hate"?:tsktsk:
It's been said it's repetitive and "how not to make a mission map". I, myself, find it fits well as a warehouse (it should be repetitve with some variation), it's explained in the fiction, and it does its job as a training level, which is what ACT I of the Thief games is really about beneath the fiction. It was the second Thief mission I ever played (TMA was my first Thief experience) and I was still in awe, loving the score, and it felt very atmospheric to me. Of course, I had yet to play the even better missions.

I have a converted version of the Keeper Training brushes for TDS. Even though I'd need probably only 1/5 of them if built in a modern way (with static meshes), it worked nontheless...although it was a bit confusing with so many brushes. :p I believe there were once these files for all OMs but I found most links to be dead unfortunately.

Yes, I would be very interested.
Nothing wrong with the good old T2 missions, but lets face it, the graphics werent even good ten years ago when T2 came out. I would love to see a high-quality remake in a more modern engine. IMO its worth a try! :thumb:
I would love to have a ''the haunted cathedral'' T3-conversion, the zombies in T3 arent bad and as example the cradle looked pretty good. A great FM could be made with this engine. :D

What kind of engine is this? O_O
