I do think if there are no worthy nominations at all they should just say so. No need to scrap the very bottom of the barrel and call it winners.

Fallout 3 and Red Alert 3? Now I've seen everything
Examples of great dialogue in Fallout 3:
wait...I can't think of any. Maybe lines like "Nice hat Calamity Jane" classify as great dialogue to these ignoramuses, IDK

It's not like there's any integrity to gaming journalism elsewhere either. The last honest reviews in Hungary I read were in Commodore World, an early 1990s mag: they pirated their games like everyone else at the time, and had no incentive whatsoever not to tell the truth as they saw it. :laff:
Amiga Power. 'Nuff said.

GoW2 have some of the poorest writing in recent gaming history.
This almost makes me want to play Gears of War 2, especially since the first part did show some potential in the unintentional comedy department. Can you explain a bit what's so particularly poor about the writing or why the screenplay will never win an award?

Grand Theft Auto 4.
The only thing that put me off about the story was the ending. The game really felt like it was leading up to a big climax, but IMO it lost focus in the last fifth or so, before abruptly returning to the main story for the last one or two missions (and the story for those two were rather meh anyways). It's unfortunate because the rest of the game was absolutely beautifully written.

Are you referring to the billions of dollars in free lunches thrown by lobbyists for Gamespot in order to ensure Crysis gets a 9.5?
Crysis deserved a 9.5, if not higher.

Do you remember the "Well we're not here to sell cookies!" line from the first game? Well the successor to that line in the second game is "MORE LIKE TEN SHITLOADS!"

I would say Crysis is nothing more than an above-average FPS with awesome graphics. 7.3 at best. How could you ever justify a 9.5?

Come on sh0ck3r, you've got to admit that disagreeing with one game's review score isn't any sort of meaningfull comment on journalistic integrity.
Particularly when there are a lot of gamers around here who don't share your opinion in the first place.

...(waits for Chade's meaningful comment on journalistic integrity)...

What do you want, Sh0ck3r? To start a Crysis fight, or to bitch about journalists? Because it's either a stupid place to start a fight about Crysis, or a stupid way to bitch about journalists.
