Oddly, as a writing exercise, I am writing the plots for 15 missions. I don't know how far I'll get, but a drafted one. I won't be done editing the story until the end.
I would like to help make a Thief2x style expansion, but I can't do it alone.
I wish Dromed worked for widescreens, and wasn't so hard to set up. I started making a mission before, but Dromed needs a little widescreen TLC.
Overview: Basically, we start little little, using progressive disclosure through the storyline. We searching the city-watch for clues to not only what happened to Basso, but also the town of Dayport he had traveled to, but because of increased security, we will be caught inside city-watch after a shift change.
Ultimately, we must travel to the now forbidden town of Dayport to find Basso.
Though, the Hammers have isolated Dayport after a zombie outbreak, by sealing the very town with sheets of iron. Zombies walk the street. With very few people left alive, we read hopeless accounts as to why the city was lost.
We must find an antidote for those remaining people, as well work your way to the source of the infection, the abandon graveyard on a dreadful hill, where you find evidence that someone has breached a gravesite, and entered a subterranean passage leading to a lost city. You must find their water supply, and put the antidote in there, and return...all the way back make sure they know you succeeded.

Those Hammers Lost - Mission 1
We are in Garrett's apartment. We see a writing desk. On it, we see three scrolls and a bracelet.
Garrett: My rent is late again, real late. I've got a commissioned bracelet to fence to Basso, but by now, Lord Wetherby has his thug, Benedict, looking for me.
I'll have to arrange a little surprise for Benedict to buy me more time, or I'm finished.
And Lord Wetherby should be dealt with for trying to make me dead, but he's a family man.
Still, I can make his life a little more complicated.
Objective: Take note that we will pay back rent.
“To: Lord Wetherby,
Your lordship, my employer at the import-export company followed through with the back-wages owed to me. I'll pay you tonight, in full. You have my promise.
—Garrett”
Objective: Take forged plans to steal Lord Wetherby's heirloom golden sword to make sure Wetherby deals with Benedict should he be released from prison.
"Oliver,
Lord Wetherby's a beslubbering fool!
Yesterday, I found that sword I heard about. Wait till you see it! The hilt and made of solid gold! On the grip, there was a ruby.
Tonight, when his “lordship” is away on business, I'll steal that sword.
Remember, you can't fence the sword or the diamond in this towne, or we'll be living on the slop they serve in Cragscleft prison.
Wetherby will think his fancy sword was taken a deadbeat tenant. He has me looking for this “Garrett” anyway, in retribution for all the money he owes. Wetherby will think he Garrett got desperate and robbed him to pay the rent. It's so perfect!
Meet me out at the old mine, about 12 o'clock. Be there!
Wetherby is so stupid, so dim-witted, and so empty-headed that he will never be the wiser. Tonight, that pompous arse's sword is ours for the taking!
Benedict—”
Objective: Take anonymous-tip that Benedict stole Diamond, and is hiding in abandon mine until the coast is clear.
“Dear Sirs,
For the last few days, I've seen suspicious looking men skulking about on Old Mine Road. I asked them just what business they had at the mine, and that seemed to make them nervous.
When I saw one of them run by tonight, he was armed with a golden sword, and he carried a large jewelery chest under his arm.
I can't be sure, but I think he is up to no good.
—Concerned Citizen”
Objective: Before you leave your apartment building, leave note for Lord Wetherby that you will pay back rent.
Objective: Don't kill anyone, or they will know it was you.
Objective: Don't harm Lord Wetherby, or NPCs in building.
Just outside our apartment, we see posters stating that travel to Dayport is prohibited.
Objective: Frame Benedict with Lord Wetherby.
Objective: Steal Lord Wetherby's prized heirloom sword.
Objective: Steal Lord Wetherby's child's Ragdoll from living room to infuriate him.
Objective: Steal Lord Wetherby's real accounting book, and deposit it at the tax collector's office.
Objective: Frame Benedict with City-Watch.
Objective: Steal Diamond from Jeweler.
Garrett:
“It's too big to sell, anyway.”
Objective: Leave anonymous-tip at City-Watch Outpost.
Objective: Find and Knock-out Benedict before he kills you.
Objective: Leave Diamond in mine.
Objective: Leave ragdoll in mine.
Objective: Lock Benedict in abandon mine.
When we close the door, we hear...
Benedict:
“Garrett, you scoundrel!
I know you did this, and you're going to hurt when I get out of here.
Do you hear me?! I said, did you hear me!?
Are you there?
Look, Garrett, I told you, wasn't really going to really kill you. Just let me out of here!
Garrett!
You buffoon, you locked me in here the largest diamond I've ever seen! I am going to spend it all, without you! Do you hear me?!
And what the taff is this dollie doing in here?
Are you some kind of lunatic?!
Garrett!"
