Alright, I decided to play back through the Museum in TDS, cause the first time through I could only find 99% of the loot, and after 45min just gave up . .. well dying to know where everypiece was, y'know? Anyhow . . .
I'm on the second floor of Tesero Hall, playing for 0 kills and max loot here . . . when I'm spotted by a guard on my way towards the elevator . . . so, I make a run for it - the elevator that is (completely forgetting that the elevator is on the lower floor still), and now with two guards right on me, I fall into the elevator well, turn around in midair and hit the jump key to grab the wall (which worked, thankfully!). Anyways, I hear one of the guards scream and I notice right on the side of the screen a body fall . . . it seems one of the guards couldn't stop and fell to his death.
So, I know for myself I didn't kill him, but how would you figure the game would calculate it out? I took a screen pic of it too, cuase this is the first instance I've ever had in any of the series of an enemy going suicidal, and I thought it was a riot! I still had to re-load that game, cause that broke my no-kill rule, though.
Oh . . .
Pilling all the unconscious guards into the empty fountain in the courtyard area of the second floor of Tesero Hall . . . that garnished me 29 stealth kills, even though I had only knocked them out . . . I guess the ones on the bottom must've suffocated from the BO r something, ha!
Oh well for the no-kill rule on that one

I reckon the other Guard pushed him over the edge, with the intention to drop him on your head! :joke:
Nice job on clinging to the edge before falling to thy doom!

I had two suicidal persons in Pagan Sanctuary. One of them is a woman that falls from the rafters near tne training room (where you can push the gear and make it fall). Sometimes her death scream alerts everyone nearby. The second one is a man in the 'Sleepsie' room. Sometimes he lies too close to the fire and dies because of it. But it don't affect my 'Kills' status anyway. Maybe that's because they didn't see me (and therefore didn't fight me) before they died?

That is a really disturbing thought.

I'm a little surprised though that all those unconcious guards turned into dead bodies . . . I never would've guess that if you piled that many into the same tight spot that the game would kill 'em.

I thought maybe this was possible too, ha!

Old-school thief skillz man, it pays off :thumb: . . . still missed the rope arrows, though - running from a guard, firing a rope arrow, and jump/climbing to safety right before those last 4 health shields are taken from you . . . that was fun

Hehe, good job with that unintentional suicide.
I had a similar incident in the Clocktower where a Hammerite was standing in front of a chair, he sptted me and as he ran towards me he clipped the chair which in turn flipped over his head and killed him stone dead. Hilarious.:laff:

I had a Cradle puppet slip on an oil slick, then get up and kill itself by tripping over a chair, or rather, tripping near a chair. I feel so blessed to have been recording at the time, for my Yakety Shalebridge Cradle video.

heh . . . In TDS, now and then for fun I'd take some of those extra oil flasks I had amassed (never really had a use for them), and drop them close together to make a massive puddle, and then fire a noise arrow right into the middle of it . . . watch all them guards come running, ha!

and that reminds me . . . an interesting way to play Thief . . . instead of 'ghosting' doing the complete opposite; the whole goal is to not knock out or kill any opponent, leave torches lit, doors open, etc. and to generally make as much friggin noise as possible. Typically, you end up running through the mission grabbing whatever loot you can, while being chased by a guard or two, and possibly dodging attacks. Generally, any 'stealth' activity is only used when required for the mission objectives. I used to call this the 'fleet-of-foot' method, or the 'loot-thru' method. It's actually kind-of fun ;)
