Assuming they'll bounce back at some point, now might be the time to buy MS shares.

According to someone on my Twitter feed, every post on the XBone facebook feed is full of replies like
(http://i.imgur.com/Z76IQht.png) these.
If only we could harvest this rage towards useful causes, we might be able to find solutions to world violence, hunger, and disease.

Their stock value is higher than it has been in a long time, so that would be an odd strategy.

I'd seriously consider a PS4 when it drops a little bit in price. But the XBox One...I'd rather cut my balls off than buy into that horseshit. Which is annoying because I do like my XBox 360, a lot, and the beefy controller for 360 feels right in my ridiculously large hands--unlike those for the PS2 and PS3, which seem to have been made for slender-handed midgets.
But as CCCToad's little video points out, I want a game console to play games on. I don't need, nor want, a bunch of other bullshit to be bundled into my "game console".
And I want used games!

I was being glib, it's not like I checked or anything. Just seems their strategy with the XBone is being a giant clusterfuck - that's what I was trying to get across.

You guys all realize that everyone's going to forget about this 'games tied to the console' thing when it lets publishers do massive Steam-like discounts, right? I'd almost put money on that being part of Microsoft's strategy here.
That would certainly be a checkmark in their corner, but given their history, do you think it'll really
happen? MS is all but synonymous with charging as much as they can get away with (or more).

MS actually regularly has decent deals on GFWL Marketplace, the problem is no one ever knows about it (I mean, who the hell ever actually looks at that site, especially since shopping in the client itself doesn't work).

Given the relatively recent Gabe Newell snipes about W8, is it possible that MS are trying to engineer some kind of Steam rival?
