Umm bro, I'm not debating Sulphur, just Squeenix's excuses for being up the supposed financial shits.

That extra gig isn't going to make that much of a difference, especially since the Xbox One and PS4 SKUs are pretty much going to be straight ports of the PC SKU for any multiplatform title.
Well, that was always going to be true, since the rule with multiplatform development is to aim for parity between platforms instead of taking real advantage of each individual box's strengths and weaknesses. That's going to be even more true this generation, with the hardware being so similar between both.
I guess that it's really just status quo - look to the exclusives to see what you can really milk out of each box, and wait for the middle of the cycle to see devs learn from previous outings with the new hardware and wring out more power in successive releases.
Eva: that's really a whole other topic.

RE: Easy porting from PC. Have we even had any confirmation that Xbone's CPU uses x86 architecture? All that I've read thus it that has 8GB DDR3 RAM and a 500GB HDD.

x64, was all they said in the presentation. Number of cores and speed were no-shows. I suppose they're going to spice up their E3 show with that.

Ah, sweet as. I'd rather watch paint dry than actively watch a videogaming press conference, let alone waking up at like 6am to see a live stream.

And Yoichi Wada resigned immediately after that quarterly call. As well as John Riccitiello resigning from EA after a similar 'we are not making ENOUGH billions of dollars' quarterly report. Two major video game execs falling on their swords that close together is pretty much unheard of.
And lest you forgot, THQ being obliterated by bankruptcy court instead of saved by it. As well as massive layoffs at Trion, EA and others, just in the past few weeks.
Would all the major studios closing down be a bad thing though? If a well-received, well-selling game like Tomb Raider can be considered a failure from an economic standpoint it's surely a sign that there's a lot of bloated inefficiency somehwere in the process. In my in-expert opinion I say let the whole thing collapse in on itself. From the dust new indie studios will rise to fill the void, and we'll have a whole bunch of studios in the AAA-scene again instead of just a handful of big ones. :thumb:

PS3 already does this.
Oh cool.

This conveniently condenses everything you need to know into about a minute and a half. (

When would servicemen find the time to play Halo in-between all of the banana deep throating?
