If you've got a 360, I highly recommend you fork out the measly $10 they're asking for Geometry Wars 2. Or at least, give the trial a go.

http://www.zen80200.zen.co.uk/gw2.jpg6 games modes now (including an updated 'Evolved' mode from the first game). I'm particularly fond of 'Pacifism', where you're not actually allowed to shoot.
There's a short article describing it (

King and Pacifism will have you playing round after round until you're a sweaty mess. I don't recommend stuff very often, but this has got so much 'just one more go' factor, it'd be rude to miss it :D
p.s. Outie, you're now about 40 million behind me in Pacifism . I'm a d d i c t e d

Well I could only play for about an hour before my 360 red ringed >:( I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME

Arrr, unlucky :(
I'm sure you've already looked into it, but as long as it's 'general hardware failure' - i.e. 3 red lights only, they'll fix it for free.

Yeah, I've put in an RMA request already. Just need to call UPS to arrange a pickup.
I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did actually - I bought it used in early 07 and never had any problems until it suddenly deadlocked with graphical artifacts on Friday. I could make a good guess at what was going on right then and there, and predictably it failed to boot up and RROD'd shortly after.
[edit] Fun fact: my GW2 playtime was actually on a friend's 360 at his place. He was here when mine red ringed, so we went to his place to get the shipping coffin from his RROD and played a bit of GW2 and N+ coop. [/edit]

I think that, when the new one arrives, you should just go ahead and report a RROD failure, and ask for a shipping label, so the next time it dies you are ready to go.

Every time someone mentions their 360 ringing itself it just reminds me of how little I want a 360. Who wants to go through that hassle?
Unfortunately if the new Metal Gear comes out on it I'm buying because it's still cheaper than a PS3 :(

Please stop.

Also, double posting like that is frowned upon.
