I'm looking for some XBox 360 games to play with my four year old daughter... she used to love to watch me play Fallout 3, but I had to really censor what I did to avoid exploding heads in slo-mo and whatnot. I have subsequently told her that the game is "broken", so we have moved on to others.
I do have Beautiful Katamari, but it is tricky to keep her engaged on that one.
I have the demo of Castle Crashers, and she loves it (plus we can play together). "Squashing bugs" is what she refers to mashing the Y button to slaughter the foes :)
At any rate, I'd like to find something else co-op that is relatively kid friendly on the 360. Someone mentioned Legos in another thread where I thought Mini Ninjas might be good, but I decided to start a thread specifically for this topic.
Thanks for the help!

What about the Lego games? Also kids of all ages eat up the band games ie: guitar hero etc. And then theres Kungfu Panda...

Is Kung Fu Panda co-op?

Google says no, sorry. =/

Thanks... couldn't quite tell from Google. I found one link where one person seemed to indicate that there was co-op unlockable content, but elsewhere seemed like no.

He's right about the Lego games. They're also really, really good. Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Batman, all of 'em. The usual google scrub informs me that Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise is the sorta thing you're looking for too.

Thanks y'all... I'm going to give Kung Fu Panda and the Indy Lego demos a go.
I have the original Viva Pinata demo... forgot about that one. My daughter used to love the promo video (which is annoying as hell) but didn't have the patience for the longer one. Have to try again.

You can get the Complete Lego Star Wars pretty cheap, which is all six films (or both Lego Star Wars games). Of course, if she's never seen Star Wars it won't be quite as fun. Though that applies to all Lego Brand Name titles.
Viva Pinata, I wouldn't recommend. They're weird, because while their presentation is designed to appeal to children, their gameplay mechanics are actually very complicated. It could be fun if she doesn't mind just toying around in an open-ended garden, but trying to really "progress" in the game could be difficult. Also, it's single-player only, no co-op. And Katamari co-op isn't so hot, either.
One thing that pops up in google searches if Spider-Man: Friend or Foe. Kid-friendly, co-op, and decent reviews as far as that sort of thing goes.
Additionally, there may be a number of Live Arcade games that are good, though that is not my area of expertise.

You want a co-op game that kids play?
I suggest Halo

The sequel's got the co-op. At age 4, though, I really doubt kids would want progression more than a variety of ways to fool around with the game. I may be wrong, but I would've thought the literal sandbox that the game is would be more of an attraction than anything else.
