Hi,
I'm new to this forum and this topic has probably been done to death, but, I'm stuck. I haven't played Thief in years, tonight I thought hey, let's give auld Garrett a run. I loaded the game and off we went or so I thought. The game will run quite happily except there are no textures ... it's like playing in a hospital with white walls and floor and the odd pop-in of torches and doors. This pc ran the game quite well when the game first came out....then it had win 98 on it and apart from more ram and a new hd, it's the same machine.....celeron 333, 250 megs ram, and the tried and trusted ati rage pro graphics card......is there a way to get this game running without having to resort to repartitioning hard drives and all that madness and running my ancient copy of 98 to get this game going?

The problem is most likely to do with the graphics driver you're using, which will be a different version than the one you had for Windows98. This appears to be the official download page for the latest version of the Rage Pro windows XP drivers - these may fix the problems you're seeing.

Vigil you're a genius!
It works perfectly, I don't know why I didn't think of it :)
Thank a million :)
