if he isn't full of crap then I'm a little disappointed. I havent played the game yet. I'm waiting for the PC version if that ever happens.
I played Condemed for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I bought it solely because of what was said about it on here and It was very worth the 10 bucks I paid for it.
My favorite part of it was the sound. Even though I'm running vista, which means no fancy soundcard for me. The sound was amazing.
anyway.. Discuss.

While I love Yatzee's reviews, as they are hilarious, take 'em with a grain of salt. He insults everything. Condemned 2 should be at least as good as the original, because the worst they can do is copy their previous game.

As for the game at hand, knowing that it has the same flaw as Indigo Prophecy is very usefull.
Other than that I enjoy every review from him because of the ingenious combination of word and picture :)

Come on, he is harsh but fair. If he likes something he says so and if he finds something, or some aspect of something, crap he says so.

Yeah, that game was a bit over-hyped in my opinion, but there are lot worse games out there which have been praised far more than they should (*cough* Halo *cough*).
Besides, his "reviews" are more for entertainment value than anything else. It's not like I'm going to base what I buy on them.

He also likes Psychonauts. And probably SS2. I watch his reviews despite the fact that 90% of them are for console games that will probably never head PC-wards.

And yeah, Yahtzee beating off over Portal is part of why I quit watching. Another reason is 'cuz it's kind of hard to follow him- he goes a bit too fast for me. I'm aware it's more for entertainment value than anything else, I just found myself no longer entertained.
