Yearly FM Stats 2022 - TTLG Forums

Another year has gone by, and another bunch of FMs was released.

Note: the stats for 2022 include three re-releases for Thief 2, and two re-releases for TDM:
T2: The Pursuance of an Inscrutable Reciprocrity Post-Contest Version, Off to Milhorn Manor, Reverse Robbery
TDM: La Banque Bienveillante, Sneak and Destroy

Besides those, all FMs were first released in 2022.
Multi-mission FMs count as a single release.

If you notice any errors, please report them and I will change the graph.

Since 2016, there has been an average of 30 missions a year across all 4 games. Hopefully that will keep up going forward.

We've always had good FM's, but it was around 2008 that the quality took a huge jump. I think it had to do with the release of Broken Triad, it set such a high bar, that everyone else now had to adapt and go the extra mile

This is an interesting chart. TDS didn't have a chance, just too darn limited. T2 and TDM for the long run.
