I've taken a few breaks from playing; there are people with way more skill points than I. I'm pretty dormant at the moment so I can't offer any of you contacts in an Alliance or anything, sorry.
But yeah, 3 years of playing and I've got through a fair few ships. The Tempest was the sexiest looking but I sold it. I much prefer my big Bucket o'Bolts in terms of versatility (Typhoon) A few pics then.

Minmatar represent! I'll probably choose them too, I'll start the trial in a week or so.

And here I thought Rifter couldn't get any sexier. <3

Hey Ulukai how up to speed are you with pvp trends? I was all hyped about making a gank-geddon till I learned that they were nerfed with RMR. Now I've got my heart set on a blasterthron and wanted to get some first hand advice on it.
I definitely want to be a DPS ship and no, I dont want to be a raven. Caldari higher tier ships have got to be the ugliest ships in the game. Too bad, they were going in the right directon with the merlin and the caracal.

Hoy, I am going to start playing again. I tried the 14 day trial but didn't get past that. Could anyone give a brother a start by getting me into a corp?
The Alchemist on 19/9/2006 at 13:19
Well you wont have trouble finding growing corps looking to recruit new players and train them. Infact, I suggest it for any new players. When I first played this game two years ago I joined a corp and they trained me in just about everything, and even supplied me with free skills and a free cruiser.

Not very. But the Vagabond (Heavy Assault Cruiser) with Tech II autocannons will outrun and tear just about anything to shreds at the moment. Just make sure you start the fight because it can't tank for shit.
If you really want to gank something in an apoc, fit 8 large smartbombs and go sit by a gate in low sec and wait for some frigates to pass by...

It looks alot like X3 to me, but with far more elegant ship designs and backdrops.
But that's not the best news. They're adding something that'll help the game even better than a new renderer...ingame VoIP.

I signed up for the two week trial (as Nevurm), and it's going alright.
Still kind of getting my post-tutorial sea legs, as it were. The whole thing really reminds me of Independence War 2.
I doubt this will pull me away from WoW, which I play with my roommates and others I know in real life, but it should make for a nice fortnight of distraction.
