A deep medieval RPG/sim would be nice.
I imagine it as a seamless 1st/3rd person perspective cradle to the grave free-roaming epic where you can take part in various things from acts of chivalry or desperation to courtship or warfare.. eventually lording over others or resisting oppression based on your chosen station, role and class. You mean, like Mount & Blade ?

sounds close, but it's not seemless :)
(ps. I love m&b)
The thing is, there are so many great ideas that just do not work when you're finally there, doing games, and when you're not there doing games, there are so many ideas that sound so awesome, and you're always puzzled why those developers do not go there.

Serious reply now.
Demagogue, your idea does actually sound pretty cool. I always liked the interacting with people part of Zelda games the best, Majora's Mask's interactions being the best. Of course, Zelda games (and most other rpg, adventure games) are still woefully simple in this regard but if a game comes around that heavily focuses on understanding a person's personality I will at least check it out. Maybe there are some games out there already that attempt this, I don't know.
Also, I am one of the people working on an LSD "remake" that Aja mentioned in his post so I am also interested in that kind of game.

Don't mind me. I'd totally play your game, Aja. LSD is brilliant.

Well we do have a three-man team with no game-design experience, one computer science degree, one english degree (almost) and an overarching interest in ambient music. I'd say this project should be ready to ship in a week or so.
