It's not the same voice, just the same guy doing them. Gart had an "English aristocratic" quality that contrasted nicely with Deryn's "lower class trying to not to be" speech.

personally, i dont see how any lady couldnt NOT like Garrett. hes so cool and charming (ach! i sound like a woman, i know, but i AM a man, and a hetero to boot, so im not havin gay fantasies about Garrett here), which i think does mainly come from his voice, considering thats most of what u get from him in the earlier Thief games, and is even somewhat so in T3. cuz Garrett is friggin AWESOME! i wish i was like Garrett, maybe then id actually have a life.... but i digress. :cool:

I carry a torch for Garrett. I would replay missions in TDS just to hear the briefings. (please, tell me I'm not the only one...) It's not just the voice it is the whole persona. Rebel, Intelligent, Dangerous, Pays the rent.

Not TDS (I didn't like the TDS briefings), but I listed part of the T1 closing custcene many times... "Tell them Garrett is done!"... huggable :cheeky:
