Hey, if girls think that Garrett has a sexy voice, and those girls think that saying so is NOT objectifying Garrett, then I guess it would be allright for guys to say that Lara is hot because she has a sexy ass. Right?

Someone said you cannot objectify a voice. Can you objectify an ass then? Yes you can, and you CAN objectify a voice too. In the same way an ass may be sexy, a VOICE can be sexy. You may like someone because he/she has a nice ass or a sexy voice. Am I right? Yes I am.

I personally don't see anything wrong with guys saying Lara Croft is sexy because she has a sexy ass. That is, afterall, part of the lure of the game and the creators knew it would be. (But the ASS? Ew...you sit on it and go to the bathroom from it! http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif )
As for Garrett, I along with many of you, male and female, have heard some BAD voice acting. Actually, I've heard quite a few bad VAs, due to my profession (as a lackey. :P ) , and interests, and I've heard some really great ones. The voice of Garrett stands out for that reason, in my mind.

I don't think it's objectifying because there really is a thin line between that and appreciation. I appreciate the textures and qualities of the voice; however, this is not the only reason for my intrigue with the character. The personality is quite unlike most personalities I've run across. http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif I think we've all met too many similar people but I can honestly say I've never met a RL or game persona such as this.
