I've got a crush on Garrett. I don't know, he's just... so cool. -SQUEAL-
Of course, I've always had a thing for young, enigmatic, dashing men hidden under the cloak of night since I was four, so... I don't know. It was probably a given.

As a man, never had a crush on Garrett xD but nevertheless, he's my favorite video game character in existence (and he has a damn awesome voice!). Personally, I was drawn to the Garrett/Viktoria relationship, and how terrifically written and depressingly tragic it was. They had the great chemistry and a shared past, combined with the urgency of the Metal Age that brought them back together... but changing their bitterness in the process. Garrett, I don't think, is truly drawn to normal women, rather someone unique, and able to be his peer like Viktoria was with her powers, and his skills :thumb:. It was sad that in the end, Garrett didn't realize in time how much he cared about her... and that there was no way to reverse what happened at Soulforge. I'm hoping for Viktoria's return lol, just as long as it's not done in a lame way.

Garrett enters Pagan woodlands in the dead of winter. All the leaves have long since fallen, and the trees stand crooked, brittle, and sharp in the white and grayness. Suddenly, a whirlwind forms, whipping debris and powdered snow, and in the center, a blue-green glow pierces the uncolored bleakness, brightening and concentrating, shining through the increasing density of whirling debris, and just before the spinning column solidifies, the glow assumes the shape of a beating heart.
The wind dies down, the column stops spinning but there is no cessation of rapid and patterned movement as arms stretch forth like branches from the trunk, and the column becomes humanoid. Finally, long flowing raven hair flies freely from the creatures' head, the skin as richly-hued smooth bark over sensuous female curves. The foot of the column separates as legs, taking a single step forward. Viktoria!
Garrett calls her name. A rare tear collects at the corner of an eye socket filled with a cold clockwork orb, and for once, he cares not. He breaks into a sprint, running so hard his muscles crack, and he cares not. The hardened soil beneath his boots erupts into vivid grasses and blossoms, casting a million clods of frozen mud into the air around him, which explode into a million fragrant petals, intoxicating him with every heaving breath. Viktoria's hair fills with tiny flowers, like stars against a cloudless velvet night sky beyond The City's sickly lights and smog. She softly speaks his name as they crash and tumble onto a bed of moss and blooms.

He'll catch himself a bad splinter. Or at least at bad points of his body.

Gawd I have been in love with Garrett for years, his voice is extremely sexy. However unfortunately he is not real, the person who does his voice must be, but who says that we would get on? I wrote a review of thief deadly shadows on Amazon, and all i wrote about was how much i was in love with garrett. My mood was slightly elevated at the time, needless to say, i was embarassed by the review and got rid of it, I'm also in love with Lara Croft, which I see was mentioned on a few of these threads, I want to BE her, but can't see how I could ever be so perfect. I've had to make do with calling my cat Lara, which is pretty apt, as her climbing and jumping skills are second to none. I did have a tarantula, I suppose I never thought of calling her Garrett because she was female, but I think Garrett would make a good name for a male spider, what with all the creeping around, stalking and stuff they do...I love the giant spiders in thief, i think they are cute, even the sounds they make, make me go awww, I always get upset after killing them, After overdosing on Thief games and fan FMs It seemed only natural to move onto messing about with DromEd, nothing gives me more pleasure at the moment then watching giant spiders skulk about in my own mission in progress ha. I dunno, perhaps I really need to get out more...
