"I've got a simple job planned for this evening. One of my... old associates contacted me, asking to... aquire certain pair of rubies. Now maybe I didn't understand the guy correctly, but it looks like some little girl wants a new doll, and they are out of buttons.
The rubies are currently in posession of the High Temple of st. Yora in Auldale. The place used to be big, with noisy celebrations almost every week, but now the Hammers are in decline, and so is their cathedral. Which is good, because there should be few guards. But there may be even less loot, which troubles me, because I don't like wasting my time only so that some rag doll gets fancy new eyes.
But hey, maybe I just like children?"

Brilliant. Now all you need to do is make the rest of the mission. ;)
Zillameth on 1/8/2007 at 21:25
Well, I can make mission goals.
1. The main entrance is well guarded and well lit. Find a back door.
2. These are just two tiny stones, nobody puts things like this on display. Find out where they are stored. There should be a treasure registry somewhere in high priest's quarters.
2a. [After completing goal 2] Find the vault and steal the rubies.
2b. [After completing goal 2a] Someone was here first. Follow the trail of breadcrumbs to find the thief.
2c. [After completing goal 2b] It's the cook! Steal rubies from him, before he uses them for his poison.
2d. [Hard|Expert & after completing goal 2b] You don't want little girls and their rag dolls to exist in a world, where Hammerite cooks invent poisons. Find and destroy the recipe.
2e. [Expert & after completing goal 2b] This cook isn't going to poison anyone. Find some evidence and leave it in high priest's office.
3. [Hard|Expert] A doll needs a dress. Red cloth from the main altar should do fine.
4. [Expert] You woudn't want to help create something, if some little girl is going to give it a stupid name like "Sir Philemon Julius Edgar Bumbleson the Fourth" or "Benny". See if you can find a proper name in one of books in temple library.
5. You're in this for the money, right? Steal at least 600|800|1200 loot. All Hammers take the oath of poverty anyway.
7. [Hard|Expert] AIs in Thief don't use ragdoll, so killing them won't help you. Spill no blood.

I meant FM's that are parodies of Thief itself.
