mein gott, i think he is.
Maybe.
I'm still not sure what additional involvement needs to be had. Garrett comes across the remains of a Mechanist assault, and the ghost of a little girl gives him her dolly.

Not much to explain or develop, really. Just some basic supernatural stuffs.

If one felt compelled to make a stretch of story elements, one could say the Pagans have a way of making magical dolls to protect their children from certain kinds of harm. Dewdrop's powers hadn't kicked in yet because Lily had to name the doll and speak its protective quality. Lastly, the moon had to be at the right position to complete the ritual. She named the doll right before she died, and spake its protective quality, so the only thing remaining was for the moon to reach the correct position in the sky to seal the deal. Garrett shows up after all this has occurred.
You know I'm kidding, right?:eww:
Back on topic: I like Benny's drunken raving in Truart's game room. It's almost not a conversation, but it is. Stephen Russell as Benny will always be tops for me, though Dan Thron did a helluva job with all his voices, too!

My fav:
Drunk Benny's "Someone spilled my mead" conversation.

i would have to say viktoria made dewdrop after the woodsie lord was dead and put his soul into it,hence why he has magical powers, and now since viktoria died,he must travel with garrett on his next quest to bring the ghost of viktoria alive in order to stop the next order "the order of the inverted burrick",to be continued when thief 4 is released :P

...
Yeah, 'cause that's completely sensible.
Sometimes it's okay to not have everything tie together! I'm just fine with spooky ghost kid and her doll with Imaginary Friend Powers!

For me, the Hammers talking to each other throughout Cragscleft will always be nearest and dearest to this old school rpg heart. The Mission just reeks of Ultima V or something. :) Amazing how Looking Glass brought all of this to actual "life".
In fact, to this very day I still chuckle at the term Lord Bafford.

but in a good way! lemme think. . .favorite conversation. . well, it's gotta be the "you've gone too far, you camel=mannered tunic wearing mollycoddle! An arorw iun the throat oughta shut you uP!" convo in Thief2 . .. I always greatly anticipate that one. . .that and the bear pits one in thief 1

haha, you are drunk. at least it's still legible. i, on the other hand, have once posted (not here) a huge rambling thing that was absolutely gibberish.
