We watch Scrooged every year here (supposed to watch it tonight, but some family showed up).
I'm not sure why, but the documentary Band of Brothers is something I watch nearly every Christmas. I guess because the middle parts take place around Christmas like in this (

Just kidding.

I usually watch Bad Santa, Die Hard of Batman Returns around this time. Though recently I watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation only to realize that it wasn't as funny as it was a couple of decades ago. :(

Yes it is.
Thanks to that movie "Here Comes Santa Claus" is my personal holiday disaster music.

'Home For The Holidays', with Holly Hunter, Robert Downey Jr., & Anne Bancroft. I watch it every year about this time; RDJ is great as the gay brother. Right after I finish watching the Lethal Weapon quadrilogy.

I'm also going to go with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Die Hard. Rare Exports was fairly amusing, but I expected to like it more than I ended up doing, after hearing so many people rave about it.
I've never seen Bad Santa, it's coming on TV next week so I'm recording it on the DVR, it looks like something I would like.

Scrooged. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is also awesome, but I've never really seen it as a xmas film.

Scrooged is definitely a great one. Our family tends to watch "Christmas Story" and "National Lampoon's Christmas" so they count as traditional to me.

Our local art film video store actually had Rare Exports on the shelf so we will be curling up with that for solstice night.
While I was perusing the Christmas shelf I saw some other likely seasonal films I had forgotten about, Nightmare Before Christmas, In Bruges and Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence.
Addendum:
It's the day after Solstice and all through the house, the folks are still giggling about Rare Exports.
Yeah it's by no means perfect but it's perfect enough to be a new Xmas tradition. Thank's Queue.

Scrooged!
It's a contemporary interpretation of
A Christmas Carol. That's pretty damn traditional.
