This is what I anticipated from the comments, although I never played any of them. This contest is very good at sifting the gold from the rocks from those early years. Cool!
By the way, Secret Way and Brainchild share third, not second.

Not sure what you mean? Trial by night and the broadsword of sheol share first place, secret way and thief: brainchild share SECOND place. If you say they share third place, there would be no second place, since the other two share the first place.

There are two missions ahead of them, so they share third. Brainchild can't be second best if two other missions got more points. If there are two gold medals, nobody gets silver.

That's correct, if two people tie for first, there is no second, only third after that.

Oh I had no idea. In Germany if two places are first then next place is just second. At least thats how we say it in my city :laff:
So if two places share third place, there is no 4th place either right? 5th place is next then:idea:

2002 had a few killer releases. The Broadsword of Sheol, Trial by Night, Brainchild and The Secret Way are my favorites. If I had to choose just one, it would be Sheol. That mission terrified me.

The thing that drove me crazy after playing Brainchild is that Sperry manages to scare us while we're not even in danger. The Broadword of Sheol is a masterpiece too, puzzles and horror are well mixed, can't juste chose wich is better.
The aestetics of Sperry's fms are very early 2000 but some elements are so innovative that it can't never get old for me.
