Now that I look through the list of missions I think I haven't played quite a few of those since I was only playing T2 missions around that time due to technical issues ... I couldn't figure out how to get T1/TG and T2 loaders to all work with all three games installed. Now I'm off to catch up!

Then you really have to do some catching up! :D there are some really amazing missions included. The scarlet cascabel for example is my all time Thief 1/Gold fanmission:angel:

I very recently replayed it and several other contest missions and it is still my favorite of the ones listed here.
It was an easy poll to vote in for me, even though the other favorites of this poll are also great missions (it was the best Thief FM contest by far in my book).

i think the reason people love the burrick fan mission is cause it feels like 2 missions in one,first part is in a city,then you go into second part in underground ,two for the price of one and both sections are done well
the real question is who voted for station to station :P

The contest was very, very close between these three (within .1 of a point between them) . The contest version of Cascabel is good, but shouldn't have beaten Burrick or Forsaken: it was very buggy and had quite a few technical issues.
The re-release V2 was a big improvement on an already amazing map. That version is unquestionably one of the greatest FMs of all time.

I replayed a few missions from this poll, there are so many amazing ones in this one. The best missions here got the most votes but I'd say Darkness Walk With Us and The Burning Bedlam are quite underrated. Especially Bedlam, usually I'm not that big a fan of horror missions but this mission had that atmosphere of desolation and abandonment that I rarely find in horror type ones.
