Exactly. Saying "this mission only got so many votes because it might have been confused with another" is just nonsense. Im pretty sure there are lots of people that replayed it and saw how good it is. Especially for such a long time ago.

interpretation of my initial post which you can then prove wrong. I never wrote about the vote count. And when I posted, it was still early in the voting. I was expressing hope people would not confuse the two versions of the mission. That's it. Don't you try to put words into my mouth. :mad:

Username never said this. Be careful quoting someone and just making up your own words. That's the purpose of a quote, Samantha.
His original purpose was completely legitimate. He was worried whether people would remember the difference between the T1 and T2 version, and whether they even knew which version they had played or knowing that there even was more than one version. It's not about whether they are smart enough, as you put it, to know they are voting in a T1 poll. I don't remember whether all the missions I've played is from T1 or T2 for example, especially not if there are multiple versions.
It almost seems as if you took his original statement as a complaint to the general poll, which I don't believe was his intention at all.

This discussion didn't escalate so much just because Username's original post. This discussion is based on 2 opposite opinions. It's a clash between Username's "People will obviously confuse both versions, because they have the same name" against Samantha's "People will obviously not confuse both versions, because this is T1/TG poll". Don't you think that word "obviously" has been obviously overused in this obviously obvious discussion. Because obviously...
It's probably more realistic to say that some people confused both versions and some people didn't. Then again, it's just a guess, not based on any facts. And I suspect that your opinions are also not based on any facts. So, Username and Samantha, why do you believe that your statements are obviously true?
So what will happen if they played T2 version? Is this the end of the world? No, it's not. Samantha did everything in her power to inform people that poll is for T1/TG missions only. But she's unable to control what version people will play. So, Username, what do you expect from her?
