It was a tough choice to select ONLY ONE. but decided it had to be what had the most impact. Shadows of the Metal age (T2X.) I mailed out over sixty CDR's of T2X to get it to folks that were still on dialup when it was released. folks today have no concept of what is like to try and download t2x on an fractional T1, or (yuck) a 19.2kbaud modem.
If I had been permitted I would have added black frog and death's cold embrace as I also rate those at the top of my list.

This was a very tough choice! Keeping the vote to only 1 is smart though. I ended up with The Black Frog as my favorite, closely followed by DCE and T2X. Shoutouts to Zontik for Patriot though. Although I haven't played the last 2 missions yet, it is a very accomplished campaign that everyone should try.

To be honest, I never played T2X and Patriot because I avoid too complicated, endless campaigns, and I aborted the Rebellion FMs very soon. :erg:
On second thoughts I voted for Sturmdrang Peak, IMHO the story and the tropical atmosphere is unique, but nevertheless I like DCE and TBF, too. :thumb:

I voted for Bathory because it's the best that worked as a capaign for me. The way it progresses, how levels change from one another making them distinct but continuos (instead of how in the OGs and many FMs you kinda jump from city to swamp to castle). My favourite of the list in emotional terms is Death's Cold Embrace but it doesn't get my vote.
Btw why is Godbreaker not included? I would've tossed a coin between the two, even tho Godbreaker is literally the opposite of what I praised in Bathory.

You really should play T2x. It´s not complicated and the story is great. It has a very good thiefy-feeling :)
My 2. vote also goes to sturmdrang peak. Simply one amazing campaign! :)

Do you guys ever read the first comment in a post? :laff: "when still" and "godbreaker" both have only 3/4 missions. Included here are only campaigns with 5 or more missions. If you followed the polls, both missions were already included in the respective year.

my vote is for The Rebellion of the Builder 2 as gort is one of my fav authors, also it has a cool thing from first series if you can figure it out
other favs of course is Dracula reloaded sensut is amazing author also, and Elevator mission as jis was way ahead of his time, and i think ravens creek 2 was amazing for the simple fact it took all the characters from her other series and added them into the series at the end, so this way long time fan mission players can see what they all been up to in the years since the older series by her :)
it would probably be easier to pick series that aren't my fav then the ones that are

I was torn between Death's Cold Embrace and The Black Frog but in the end Embrace won me over on nostalgia factor. Sturmdrang Peak and Keeper of the Prophecies are great too and Bathory and Dracula are cool. I agree that T2X aged a bit poorly, still an enjoyable campaign though.

Wow Dracula only has one vote? Underrated campaign, the replay value is the highest for that one for me besides T2X.
I'd say my top 5 would be:
Dracula Reloaded
T2X
Bathory
The Flying Age
ROTB
I haven't played all of those campaigns though so that could change :p
