Vote for your favourite Thief 2 fanmission of the year 2021! :)
General rules for the T2 polls: Demos, very short missions, foreign languages and OM remakes are only included if the space allows it. Same goes for missions that already appeared in one of the T1/TG polls. Big missions with 5 or more missions to play are excluded. There will be a separate poll for them.

Only voted for one mission this time, Katharsis, because although there were other great missions Katharsis stood head and shoulders over every other mission imo.

Katharsis is the best mission here. I voted for Turning of the Leaves also, as it is close in quality considering the size restrictions for the contest. Although I didn't vote for it, shoutout to Skejven for The Perdurance with maybe the most intense atmosphere in any fan mission ever. Yes, I mean that.

The Sunken Temple of Dielya contains the single most mindblowing technical effect I've seen in my entire Thief playing life. When you've been playing Thief as long as many of us have, you develop a finely honed sense of what the engine simply can't do, period. The Dark Engine can't do
non-euclidean portal rendering. Obviously. Self-evidently. Sure as humans can't fly. Then The Sunken Temple of Dielya waltzes in and does it anyway. My reaction says it all: (

got to vote for that at the very least!

Aw, thanks Fen! You are too kind :) I think you're going to LOVE what I have cooking up- but it'll be quite some time before anything is ready for release...

Lots of great missions here, but I voted for Katharsis, the one that captivated me the most. Really atmospheric mission.

Katharsis is my favorite from here as well.

Katharsis. The only choice. It is just <chef's kiss> PERFECT.

And the winners are:
1. The Turning of the Leaves
2. A Midsummer Night's Heist
3. The Cinder Notes
Congratulations! :thumb:
Side note: Just like many others here (which I´m sure of) I am saddened that "Katharsis" did not make it into the top 3. While the other 3 are very good missions themselves, Katharsis is a very special made mission. The quality and everything around it is top-notch and to top it of it was the author´s first mission. Especially compared to "A Midsummer Night's Heist" or "the cinder notes" which are rather small missions (from the 1 million units contest) Katharsis does deserve alot of praise. So, I´m giving this wonderful mission a special mention! :)
Next poll will be up tomorrow.

Its outright robbery that Katharsis didnt get more votes. It's probably because many only played the contest missions. Single releases outside contests that dont come from reputable authors sadly slip through the cracks too easily. Hopefully people seeing all these comments about it will go give it a try.
