I wouldn't give Katharsis my vote because of the discusting "good wife guide". This was completely unnecessary and didn't add anything to the story of the mission. So why on earth is such a thing added in the 21st century?!
Gameplay, story and optic are definitely not the only criteria for me. To read that as a woman is just disturbing. And it would be great if authors could hold back their hate against women considering that we have quite a lot of female members in this community.

Do you know the author personally? Or are you basing your judgement of the author on a fictional readable in a video game fan mission? If so, this would be like me not recommending a murder-mystery novel because obviously the author condones violence. I hope I'm not understanding you right here. I´m a woman myself and I have seriously no idea how you can be offended by that. It was obviously meant as a joke and no personal feelings from the author. I don´t even know how you come to such a conclusion.

I don't see a reason to chill out. It could only be funny if this kind of thinking wouldn't be a reality. But a lot of men think like that with horrible consequences for women all over the world. And the sheer amount of violence I experienced in my life because of men thinking they are superior to women prevent me from laughing about that.
And I don't know the movies you mentioned Samantha but bringing awareness to the problems women face in their daily life is, in my opinion, more important than a movie. So if peolple like me are destroying your precious work keep in mind that people like me are victims who have enough of this bullshit.
But hey, if you can laugh about men putting women down, enjoy it.

my personal feeling is "people still take the time to read the readable in fan missions"? i just scan for codes/something to solve a puzzle never took anything written as fact in thief fan missions
