Post your thiefy tools and doohickeys that you've designed or wanted to be in a Thief game or what you would like to see in "the next Thief game"
Here's mine:
1. Camouflage cloak: Basically a standard thief's cloak with camouflage pattern. It would be more stealthy outdoors, but less stealthy in normal dark indoor environments.
2. Harpoon arrow: A rope arrow with in addition to it's standard abilities, an ability to snipe enemies and drag their bodies immediately to hiding.
This is a little more abstract.
3. Weird nightvision (Thinking of a name;) ): A strange pagans'/other weird people's tool that charges up when spending great amounts of time in the dark. When activated it switches light with shadow and vice versa in the player's view like this

The camo-cloak could be used for a mission into Pagan territory.:sly:

I'd like a grappling hook for places a rope arrow can't be used.
I also thought they could have introduced a third lock pick in TMA to make lockpicking a bit more varied and difficult. They totally screwed it up in DS.

What do you mean? The whole lock in the center of the door is completely natural, right?
Oh, and I think G could go for some rubber soles, instead of tap shoes.

It appears that The Dark Mod is appropriately named :D

That second screenshot looks a bit like the alternative xenomorph vision in Alien versus Predator 2

I darkened the first screenshot a bit just to demonstrate the effect.

Hmm...
1. Water arrows that can put out electric lights ;)
2. Flash arrows (awesome)
3. A hand crossbow. It's thiefier than a great big longbow...
4. Caltrops. Thiefier than frag mines, but probably less effective...
Off-topic, I thought lockpicking in DS was no worse than the original.
