Hey guys. I've only now realised that Z=0 is in the center of the brush. This is a pain ! While building my level it would be so much easier, for me, if my brushes were orientated on the lower vertice or face at Z=0 then when I size brushes and shift them to the 'base' they are all Z=0. At the moment after brushing a room and then a doorway I have then too shift the doorway to align with the 'floor' the room brush is then at Z=0 while the dooway brush is at Z=-2 or -4 or something daft. Maybe theres a reson for this such as mirroring brushes in a level ? Is there a method or setting I can toggle to set all brushes to orient about the base rather than the center ?

Nope, sorry. You just have to get used to it.

Wait until he figures out that X and Y are at the brush centers too.

Laughing My ASS Off. Yea the penny has dropped. the little circle in the middle of brushes gave it away :) Im starting to become accustomed to certain opertions in DromEd now. Cloning a brush then moving it by holding the XYorZ button while moving the mouse is much faster then zooming in and out and then Shift Drag for fine adjustment untill grid Snap is perfect. My 'Level' is somewhat symetrical and ive only roughed out the first floor with a second, attic and basement planned but im comming along slowly. Need to start thinking about how to 'populate the level etc soon so expect much more questions.
