zombie parts harm Garrett whn they are torn apart, how to prevent this from happening - by Cardia

I notice that sometime when i kill a zombie , its limbs can damage Garrett when they hit on him, it can even kill him, how can i prevent this from hurting Garrett?, also i have sen some jars being broken when they get hit by one of the zombie limbs.

Think Game>Bash Params & Bash factor!
There are those which define the damage they will send or receive because of their velocity!
If you set everything to Zero, I think that may be okay! ;)

well it seems it doesn´t work with all creatures, i still get to die with their limbs, i have set their mass to 0 and still it kills me, is it possible to make Garrett invulnerable to their limbs with some recepton ?

It is a BashStim!
But the problem is that is the Stim the player receive from Hammerites or Mecanists Mace and Hammers... And worst... Fall Damage too! :erg:
Hmm... It need some experiment to know the right values.

Hi Pedro,
I did this once, and the way I did it is to completely change the physics to "no physics".
If there is no physics there is no mass to deal with. Update the changes to the hierarchy and save the .cow or .gam sys.
If you wanted some zombie parts lying around, then just make some physical parts under body parts with different physics.

Thank you Rod, but i think i´ll have to have them die in a normal way without being splintered apart, because of that i get to die often and worst, keyobjects disappear when they are hit by one of these limbs, they break loot, and they make haunt voice appear out of nowhere, triger create traps, its really buggy. now that i have made the ai creatures die normally all this doesn´t happen anymore.
Damm its been a rough day, since 8 o´clock that i have been fixing things in dromed :sweat:

Wait, the zombie parts actually destroy loot? That shouldn't be possible, loot should be static and immune to any damage. I think there's something wrong with how you set up loot then.

It depends on the loot!
