play Time Outside of Time when it's finished, you may have a new creature to fear...
Aw great. Like zombies, haunts, vampires, skeletons, treebeasts & craymen weren't enough to worry about. Thanks marshall. :p

There are Vampires in Thief?
That's the first I've heard about it.

Hrmph...
We have those fat noble men who feed upon the poor's pocket...
Well, that doesn't count, does it?

Yes, they protect the bow upgrade.

You'll find them in fan mission(s).
Most notably, the Midnight in Murkbell portion of Calendra's Legacy. (I do believe The Shadow of Lord Rothchest also features vampires).
They're nasty.

c130,
There IS a Haunt in that mission, but only if you have a 'steal Mystic's Heart' task. It's on Expert level, but I don't remember if it is present on Hard (never played on Hard). The funniest way to deal with him is to run back and lure him to … ohhh, spoiler…
Holy hell. Even after
almost nine years of playing Thief and Thief FMs... this idea never occured to me. :wot: I've got to try it when I get home from work! :thumb:

When I'm in the Bonehoard I painstakingly lure the zombies to the (magic?) arrow trap and watch them explode. Just like fire arrows, but without depleting your inventory. :ebil:

WAAAAAAH. Shalebridge Cradle. I love this level because it scares the shit out of me. :(
Can the puppets be knocked down with a flashbomb when they're on the other side of a door? I was lockpicking a cell door when the light above me started flickering and I almost fell out my chair, flung a dozen flashbombs all around me, and leapt for a dark alcove. The light's still flickering, but I don't hear anything (the light flickers when a puppet's nearby whether it's dead or alive, yes?), and I chucked a mine up in front of the door to see if it would go off with the presence of a puppet, but it hasn't. I've got subtitles enabled so I still see the "..." indicating the presence of a zombie, haunt or puppet that's nearby.
I know there's at least one of these cells has a puppet locked inside it, and since there's a light above every door I don't want to open them randomly in case one lurches out at me. >_<
